A Writing & Language Arts Study based on Science and Technology

Encourage creativity through exposure to fascinating technologic advances while learning to write with structure and style! The Institute for Excellence in Writing’s award-winning, theme-based writing instruction for late-elementary and early middle-school age students utilizes facts about modern technology, ranging from iPods to robotics, to capture student imaginations and provide rich writing content.

The interdisciplinary lessons allow students to improve the strength and depth of their writing with supplemental exposure to science and technology topics. This combination is excellent for broadening subject knowledge while studying the art of writing! Students will learn how to take notes, make outlines, summarize narrative stories and references, write from pictures, and MORE.

This course will also include grammar and vocabulary study, public speaking, editing, and critical thinking!
